ABOUT US

Our trust is very active for over a decade and half. We are happy and proud that we have helped over 10000 children over the years in pursuing their dreams with vigour

  • To improve the standards of education in Computer, Science,Mathematics and English in the Schools and High Schools by supporting and funding/ providing resources and organizing spoken English courses to augment the efforts of Government Kannada Medium Schools in making the learning process more robust and making children future ready.
  • To develop and demonstrate Horticulture Models for sustainable future for marginal farmers for all round development of the villages around Inna , Karkal Taluk and Udupi District.
  • To provide funding/resources for Gram Shubrata Schemes for construction of toilets at Inna.
  • To lead efforts in afforestation, greening the Inna village and ecological conservation as well as help in conservation of water by supporting Check Dams.
  • To analyse root causes and issues related to Education and Development in villages around Inna take /lead actions so that we can prevent tomorrow’s sufferings or better still progress in a sustainable and profitable manner for the benefit of all

How You Can Help?

We appeal to philanthropists like you to help us by sending generous contributions to the trust. We also humbly request you to kindly consider including our trust in the regular list of trusts for donation / contribution. While our family members have supported until now and will continue supporting, we are looking for more like minded donors (So that we can expand the activities to cover more villages) who are interested in supporting the idea of Comprehensive Development of Villages which is also in line with the vision of our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to double the farmer’s Income by 2022

1. To have programs for all-round development of villages and rural communities. We are in the process of setting up a pilot project (2019-2020) for Growing Guava. We have bought the Technology from Indian Institute of Horticulture and Research (IIHR) Bangalore.

2. To canvas and to have programs for afforestation and ecological balance and to support activities like traditional farming, modern farming, organic farming and support Check construction for irrigation schemes by providing financial support.

3.To arrange Training and Farmer/Horticulturist Education Tours to Vijayawada, Bangalore to help them understand the process oriented Horticulture

4. To support and promote Fruit Producer Association and help in making Direct to Home Delivery a reality to generate best possible returns for farm produce

Our Causes

To have programs for all-round development of villages and rural communities. We are in the process of setting upa pilot project (2019-2020) for Growing Guava. We have bought the Technology from IIHR Bangalore. Marginal Farmers will be supported by the ABCD&E Trust for two years with an investment of around Rs 5 lakhs towards Equipment and technology. Based on the success of the pilot project, we have ambition to scale it up to cover 500to 800 acres in 10 years. This project has the potential to uplift at least 300 to 400 marginal/poor families and to generate an annual income of well above the Rs.3-4 lakhs per family.
